The keyboard itself is phenomenal a great click and feel, I love the letters on the side of the key caps yet the software can be a bit janky and hard to navigate but the modes and sound control is super handy

Absolute perfection

From the price, to the sound, compatibility and performance, this keyboard is crazy good. Nice creamy sound, relatively cheap and can connect to virtually any device really makes this keyboard special. I would recommend. This was typed on this keyboard on a phone

Pretty good but try to do so that you can open

Pretty good but try to do so that you can open the attack shark software on Mac but overall pretty good I am impressed

Impressive packaging and amazing sound. I’d totally recommend for anyone looking for a keyboard. Some people warned me about the little screen that shows random stuff but it feels amazing. I’m sure I can make a good use of it. Haven’t downloaded the software yet but so far I like how many default lighting options I get. Go for the white one, don’t hesitate)

Good quality, web interface broken

Good quality, appropriate shipping, some switches are inconsistent but I can hot-swap them out. Two big problems however:
1. The TFT Screen is not covered with glass, instead it's plastic, which scratches way too easy.
2. The configuration tool (the downloadable one) is working (but a little bit sketchy), but on the other hand, the web app https://qmk.top is eating up memory too quickly (2.5GB of memory in just 90seconds), it is clearly faulty, slows the computer.

I really like how many features the keyboard got.the software really great aswell. All the colors and effects you can edit are fantastic! I also think the small screen thing is very cute. The sound of the keyboard is creamy and quiet.I like the fact that you can put on other keycapsWhat I do find disappointing is that you can't edit the rainbow stripe on the side. I would find it great if you could change the color there too.

The best gaming keyboard I have ever owned

I can easily say this is the best gaming keyboard I have ever owned. The click feeling is phenomenal, and the sound is amazing. The small display is a very nice touch. You can customize almost everything, and the LEDs look very nice.
The only downside is that it does not have a right Alt key, but in the application, you have an option to set Ctrl as Alt.
Considering everything you get, the price is excellent!

Great but..

Great keyboard, cheap etc and really good for a price. But I have received keyboard with f2 keycap in place of normal 2 button.

For many users who is fancing about buying one. Get one. It's sounds amazing. Really. I would buy it again. I will check it for realibity. Software looks sketchy (I have blocked it with firewall just in case), instruction has mixed languages (for example german with en in en part) but it's really nice.

I've tried a lot of attack shark keyboards and this x820 ultra is my favorite. It's very similar to the ajazz max/pro version of their ak820.Keys have a very muted clack, not loud and obnoxious, but still enough to be satisfying. The gift switch it comes with is a linear with a fairly weighty downstroke which is nice since I'm used to tactile switches. They also did very well with the stabilizers, no rattle at all.My biggest con is that the mode switch is on the bottom of the keyboard so you have to flip it over to change.Double shot keycaps on a PC plate... sound is mid pitch which people refer to as creamy. I don't see an app and no way to change the image on the display though unlike the aula f75 max. The wheel and display is only used for changing language and light settings, so it kind of sucks looking at display info. Languages comes with English, Chinese, Korean and Japanese. The keyboard kit comes with cute stickers, 2 extra switches, USB cable and a switch puller. If budget is an issue this would be a good alternative to the other keyboards I mentioned in this review knowing you're not getting any software at all and less functionality makes for the cheaper price

Here are my observations:- The instruction pamphlet says magnetic switch keyboard, I opened up one of the switches and can confirm that these are not magnetic switches.- Accessing the LCD menu is poorly explained in the pamphlet, you hold down the FN key and push on the knob to toggle between volume control and the LCD menu. If the knob is turned and the volume is being adjusted you are in the "default" volume mode, to access the LCD menu from here you need FN + knob push at which point twisting and pushing the knob will interact with the LCD menu, another FN + knob push will bring you back to the volume control.- There are two types of switches to choose from when ordering, Shark switch and Gift switch. There is no explanation that I could find describing the difference between the two. I ordered the Shark switch which is a linear switch with a typical actuation point.- While the keyboard works on Mac OS, to modify the parameters of the keyboard requires the Attack Shark software which is only for Windows. Sadly the keyboard is not compatible with other software such as VIA.- Speaking of the software, it's useable but lacks polish, fiddling around I was able to find where to update the date and time display of the LCD...looks like through the software is the only way to update the date and time.- I uploaded an animated GIF to the LCD display through the software, depending on the number of frames and detail the upload process can range from several seconds to several minutes.- The keyboard is built to easily swap out keycaps and switches (supports both 3 and 5 pin switches), if intending to change out the plate or foams it's a more involved process as it's not as easily accessible.- The USB-C port is on the top and the controls to change operating systems and connection types is found under the keyboard, I much rather prefer if everything was off to the left hand side.- The keyboard is best used wired, having the RGB lighting and LCD display running has a huge impact on battery life.Despite some of the issues I mentioned this still remains a great keyboard when factoring the overall package and price especially when compared to more mainstream brands. I give it 4 stars because both the instructions and software could be clearer.

This is not a perfect keyboard although it nails enough of the typing sound and feel that you'd want and is reasonably priced. The overall look is clean with completely blank tops on the keycaps and some subtle lettering on the front. To its credit, I have more expensive keyboards that do not have translucent lettering so it's nice to see the backlight actually shine through here. You can set up the lighting using the knob on the top right, which is probably the weakest part of the keyboard. It wobbles in every direction and is as likely to trigger false directions when turned and stopped but it is functional and not likely to be something you use. You can't control everything with it, however, so keep the instruction sheet handy or memorize the function key codes. FN-C for example, is crucial as it toggles through the six settings for what I think is the streaming bar. It's the coloured strip beside the page up and downn keys on the right side, and is absolutely hideous. Unlike the keys it cannot be customized and your options are all some form of RGB cycling that make the keyboard look like it belongs in a carnival. Thankfully, it can be turned off.The screen is useful for changing basic settings although there is a web driver available. There is also a downloadable driver, but it kept flagging virus and malware scans so that makes me a bit wary. You can add macros, make detailed changes and do pretty much everything you'd want to do with the keyboard other than change the clock to 12 hour, which doesn't seem to be related to your device settings as is not an option anywhere. There is a basic tool for importing pictures to display on the screen and it will automatically split up and time any small gif. The screen is small but it works well for simple animated sprites.Typing feel is probably the most important part and it's pretty good. It's let down a little bit by the overall plastic nature of the keyboard as while the key presses feel good they aren't quite as solid as they could be. The sound, however, is great, giving you that soft, slightly hollow thock that you'd expect out of a gasketed keyboard.Lots of connectivity options although I used it wired most of the time. Bluetooth does work (tried it via my phone for some writing) as does the dongle, but the timeout settings are really harsh - especially for bluetooth. I found it hard to make any changes via the wheel as if I stopped turning it for more than a couple of seconds the entire keyboard would reboot. The overall construction is very plasticky but the keys type well with a pleasant sound and the clean look is nice too. I had never heard of these switches before but they're very easy to press and have no notable notch, so I guess they're most similar to a red switch.

This is a nice looking keyboard. It's 75 percent so doesn't take much space. Color combination is also beautiful. It has plastic body but it's pretty sturdy and well built. It's also heavy but not too heavy which a right balance. Keys are linear and typing experience is nice. However it is not very quiet and may be a bit noisy for the office space.

Overall this is a solid keyboard, but there was something that just left me wanting more.Key caps: The grey gradient key caps feel nice, almost like a frosted texture. I enjoyed them and it didn't seem like they'd be ones to becomes shiny over time.Switches: The switches are linear and they feel quite nice to be honest, however there is a fair amount of play in them that made them feel a little bit loose under pressure and I did not like this.Sound and feel: The sound is actually quite nice for an Attack Shark board. It's like a creamy clack that I would not mind listening to all day long. The gasket mount has a fair amount of give, which is what I'm looking for in a non-HE board as I don't use them for gaming but for work.Software: The software is fine. It's a lot less important on a non-HE board like this, so overall I wasn't too concerned with it to be honest. It gets the job done.Performance: It performed as expected in that it doesn't have 8k polling, adjustable actuation or any of the other bells and whistles you want in a premium gaming board as this is mechanical and not magnetic. In that context I had no issues, but it wouldn't be my choice in this area.Lighting: I love the right side light strip and the colors were very vibrant.Overall: The keyboard is fine for the price, I just don't get why anyone isn't getting and HE board these days. The knob and screen are nice inclusions, so if you're in the market for an affordable, non-HE board, I'd say this is a decent go.
